Practice Philosophy
At Becker Plastic Surgery Center, we strive to make your experience a pleasant one. You will be greeted with friendly smiles and complete confidentiality. As you talk with the nurses and Dr. Becker, you will immediately appreciate that we speak in terms that are easy to understand, and we will not rush. All of your questions will be answered fully and honestly. Lastly, there is no pressure to have surgery. After a thorough discussion, you will be able to take all the time necessary to decide which of the options (including no surgery) is best for you.
Fully Accredited Facility
The state-of-the-art operating room suite at Becker Plastic Surgery has been inspected and accredited by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities ( Quad A). In addition to the confidentiality and cost savings of having your procedure done in our facility, the Quad A accreditation assures you the highest level of safety.
Patients are typically seen on Mondays and Wednesdays. BOTOX® Cosmetic clinics are held two to three times per month.
Meet Our Team
Dr. Rick Becker, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Rick Becker is originally from Mandan, ND and returned in 1997 to start his practice. He attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and also trained in general surgery at UND. His plastic and reconstructive surgery training was completed at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He was trained in cosmetic surgery in Manhattan, NY via WSU. Dr. Becker continued his training with a breast surgery fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and is the only plastic surgeon in the Dakotas to have such training.
Dr. Becker is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the North Dakota American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Tanya, Office Manager
Tanya is the office manager at Becker Plastic Surgery. She also serves as primary patient liaison. She started with Dr. Becker as receptionist in 2007.
Cyndy, FNP-C
Cyndy provides medial care with Dr. Becker, taking clients four days a week. She is a certified injector for fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse. She also performs Botox injections and sclerotherapy for spider veins. Cyndy has been with Becker Plastic Surgery since 2003.
Mindy, OR Coordinator, Surgical Assist
Mindy is Dr. Becker's primary assistant in the operating room. She is the OR coordinator and provides clinic support as well. She started with Dr. Becker in 2008.
Gwen, RN
Gwen is our circulating nurse on surgery days. She has been with Becker Plastic Surgery since 2008.
